Clubs and Activities

Builder's Club/RISE Club –Mr. Christensen & Mr. Cloward; meets 1st hour Red days; service-based club, junior high Key Club. 

Intramurals - Mr. Dale & Mr. Gonzales; meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 to 4 pm; sports for all, varied based on the season. 

Cross Country – Ms. Dutson; meetings are after school in the fall;  students meet under the big trees on the west side of the grassy area to the south of the school; long distance running & endurance 

E-Sports – Mr. Musso; 3pm Wednesdays; competitive gaming – Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., etc. 

Hope Squad – Mrs. Pratt, Mr. Gonzales & new counselor; meets 3rd hour Red day; Suicide awareness, prevention 

Student Council – Mrs. Eyre; meets 12th hour blue day; Student Government – participation by election only 

National Jr Honor Society – Mr. Cloward; meetings vary; to be invited to be in NJHS students need to have and maintain a 4.0 GPA.  This is a service based group.  

After School Tutoring – most teachers offer after school tutoring, students need to communicate with teachers that they would like to stay after and what days they will be staying.  Tutoring is from 2:45 to 3:30 but students will need to make arrangements with individual teachers.   

Flight Time – Ms. Sagers & Ms. Herren; after school until 3:30; tutoring as a way to make up U's, catch up on work and assist with organization 

Books N Bites – Mrs. Ostler; schedule pending; that meets once a month during lunch to read and discuss a common book.   

Dungeons & Dragons – Mr. Hardy; Mondays at 3pm; role-playing fantasy game 

Mythology Club – Ms. Golding; Monday at 3pm; discussion of different mythological stories and legends 

Art Club – Ms. Tolman; meets after school
