Clubs and Activities

Intramurals – all students are welcome to attend, sports will vary based on the season.  Mr. Dale and Mr. Gonzales are the advisors for these activities and intramurals will be Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 4 pm. 

Cross Country – this is a fall activity only students meet under the big trees on the west side of the grassy area to the south of the school.   

E-Sports – Mr. Musso and Senior Smith are the advisors, please check with the advisors and listen to the morning announcements for additional details. 

Drama Club – students will have the opportunity to audition for plays and will be working with Mr. Hardy after auditions to prepare for performances. 

Builders Club – Mr. Cloward is the advisor, Builders Club is a service based club.  Please listen to morning announcements for additional details. 

Hope Squad – Mrs. Pratt and Mr. Gonzales are the advisors, please check with the advisors for additional information.   

RISE Club – Mr. Christensen is the advisor, this is also a service based club where students are implementing positive campaigns to improve our culture. 

Student Council – Mrs. Eyre is the advisor, elections happen in the spring for the following year.  Student Council is responsible for spirit weeks, positive behavior campaigns and student activities during the school day.  

National Jr Honor Society – to be invited to be in NJHS students need to have and maintain a 4.0 GPA.  This is a service based group. 

After School Tutoring – most teachers offer after school tutoring, students need to communicate with teachers that they would like to stay after and what days they will be staying.  Tutoring is from 2:45 to 3:30 but students will need to make arrangements with individual teachers.  

Books N Bites – book club that meets once a week during lunch to read and discuss a common book.  Check with Mrs. Ostler for additional information.
