Before winter hits, Tooele County School District plans to have every elementary school equipped with an outdoor air quality sensor. Junior high and high schools are on track to have sensors installed by the end of the school year.

The Tooele County School District will host a Career and Technical Education Open House October 30th, 6 p.m. at the Tooele Community Learning Center (211 S Tooele Boulevard, Tooele, UT 84074). Speakers include: Congressman Chris Stewart, Lt. Governor Spencer Cox, Tooele County Commissioner Shawn Milne, Grantsville City Mayor Brent Marshall, Tooele City Mayor Debbie Winn and educator/author Dr. Tom Evans. Come tour the Tooele County Community Learning Center and learn about what Tooele County is doing in Career and Technical Education to help prepare students for the future. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from former TCSD students who will talk about how the CTE program has helped them since graduating high school.
